Nadzeya Kurzava is a Belarusian cellist and cultural project manager. She is a founding member of the Arda String Quartet and the Atalanta Ensemble, performing at festivals including the Geneva International String Academy, Musique à Flaine, the Danish String Quartet Academy, the Swiss Chamber Music Festival, Festival Le vent sur l’Arbre, Gaudis Classics, among others. She also plays with the Orchestre Musique des Lumières and the Ensemble Symphonique de Genève, and has appeared as guest principal cellist with the Deutsch-Skandinavische Jugend-Philharmonie.


Committed to cultural exchange and social impact, Nadzeya worked with the Elpida Cultural Integration Association until 2024, later serving as project manager of the Maya International Summer Academy (2023–2024). Since 2025, she has been artistic director of the Vitznau Musikfestival & Akademie 2026.

Her education includes a Master of Performance from the Hochschule für Musik FHNW in Basel with Thomas Demenga and Anita Leuzinger, and a Master of Music Pedagogy and Bachelor of Arts from the Haute école de musique HES-SO in Geneva-Neuchâtel with Denis Severin, all completed with distinction. Since 2024, she has been studying Baroque Cello at the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg with Christophe Dangel.

Her work has been recognized with awards including the HES-SO Prize for the best Bachelor recital, the Orpheus Chamber Music Competition Special Prize with the Arda String Quartet, and scholarships from the Fondation Barbour, Fondation Jean Tanner, DOMS Stiftung, and the Musikakademie Basel Foundation.
